Ajwa is known to followers of Islam as a ‘Holy Dates’ & is the most royal of all Dates. These dates originate from the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and have a mild sweetness and smooth texture. These blackish Dates are said to ward off bad health and the evil eye, and are therefore suitable for gifting on special or auspicious occasions.
