1 litre Milk 1 tsp Ghee 1 tbsp Raw rice, washed 125 gms Rock sugar, crushed ½ tsp each Saffron, cardamom powder and nutmeg ¼ cup Chopped Falcon UAE Seedless Dates 2 tbsp Almonds, blanched and sliced
- Boil milk.
- Rub rice with ghee and add to milk.
- Allow it to become thick and add sugar and boil again.
- Milk should reduce in quantity by a third.
- Add saffron, cardamom and nutmeg.
- Remove from fire and add dates and almonds.
- Serve hot or cold.
